Yes, we can provide a policy for almost any vehicle that is less than 4 years old and has less than 48,000 miles, regardless of where you purchased the vehicle.


What if I am the second owner of the vehicle, will I still qualify?

Yes, it doesn't matter how many owners there have been, as long as the vehicle qualifies by age and mileage.



Is there any benefit to taking advantage of an extended service contract opportunity while a car is still under warranty?

As with any other product, service contracts are subject to inflationary price increases. By purchasing a Chrysler extended warranty now, you can lock-in at today's cost. Plus, you may be entitled to benefits in addition to the basic factory Chrysler warranty, such as car rental, lodging and meal reimbursement for warranty repairs required when you're traveling. Your plan can even include emergency roadside service for a jump-start, gasoline delivery, tire change, locksmith service, road hazard tire protection and lost key retrieval.


What is my responsibility under the terms of my Daimler Chrysler extended warranty?

Your responsibility is to properly operate, care for, and maintain your vehicle. All information regarding these subjects can be found in the Owner's Manual supplied by the Manufacturer. You should retain all receipts regarding care and maintenance of your vehicle so as to avoid any misunderstanding as to whether the maintenance services were performed as specified by the manufacturer in your owners manual.


When does coverage under my Daimler Chrysler extended warranty begin and end?

All New Vehicle DaimlerChrysler Service Contracts, plan coverage starts on the day you purchase the plan. The plan term starts at the ORIGINAL IN-SERVICE DATE OF THE VEHICLE AND AT ZERO MILES, not upon expiration of the New Vehicle Limited Warranty.


How do I obtain Plan Service under my DaimlerChrysler Service Contract?

Chrysler extended warranty plans are honored at all Chrysler, Dodge of Jeep dealerships within the United States, Canada and Mexico. You should always contact the nearest dealer for warranty assistance.



Where do I take my vehicle for service?

When service is required, you should contact the DaimlerChrysler dealership closest to where you are. If you are driving a competitive make vehicle, you should contact the dealer responsible for sales and service of that respective brand. It is your responsibility to either contact our office or ensure that the respective dealer representative contacts our office to obtain authorization for plan covered repairs prior to any repairs being started. Do I have to pay a deductible for plan covered repairs?

Yes, if the contract you purchased requires a deductible for covered repairs. You pay only the plan deductible for covered repairs performed during each repair visit. Depending on the local laws where you use your Chrysler extended warranty, you may be required to pay state or local taxes in addition to the deductible amount.


How do I submit for claim reimbursement under my service contract?

In the event you require plan service from other than an authorized Chrysler, Dodge, Plymouth or Jeep dealer. Your claim must be authorized by our office prior to the repairs being performed, and be submitted to our office with in 90 days of the repair date. You may contact us at 1-800-521-9922.



How do I request reimbursement for a Roadside Assistance Claim?

If the service contract that you purchased covers Roadside Assistance. All services provided by this coverage must be arranged at time of occurrence through DaimlerChrysler Roadside Assistance by calling 1-800-521-2779. Your request for reimbursement must include the following:

  • A valid original receipt of payment from the tow/repair facility for the services rendered (claims which contain other than original receipts may be denied)
  • The DaimlerChrysler Roadside Assistance Authorization Number
  • Your Valid DaimlerChrysler Service Contract Number.

How do I inquire on a claim reimbursement request I have already submitted?

Generally reimbursement requests are processed in about 60 days. If you have not received a response regarding your request after 60 days, you may inquire on your reimbursement request by contacting the following customer assistance centers: For Service Contract Repair or Rental Reimbursement Requests, 1-800-521-9922; For DaimlerChrysler Roadside Assistance Reimbursement Requests, 1-800-521-2779; For DaimlerChrysler Road Hazard Tire Protection, 1-800-521-2779.


How can I get a rental vehicle?

Rental vehicles must be obtained from an authorized Dealer or a Licensed Rental Agency. Rental coverage is subject to state and local laws and policies imposed by the rental agency. The Plan is not responsible for any refusal of a rental agency to rent a vehicle to you.


What is the difference between my vehicle Warranty and my Service Contract?

Your vehicle Warranty is comprehensive product coverage that is provided to you by the Manufacturer that protects you against product defects for a specified period of time or mileage. Your DaimlerChrysler service contract is additional protection that you purchased that provides you with specific component coverage that goes beyond the Manufacturers Warranty period and extends your protection for the specific time and mileage duration you selected. Terms such as Chrysler extended warranty, Dodge extended warranty and Jeep extended warranty are used interchangeably with the term service contract within this site.
